Canadian game-design contest!

FallCon in Calgary announced that they are looking for entries for a new annual game designing competition. The information is here.

I have pages upon pages of ideas and yet I still have not put together a single prototype to try out. I think I have this weird fear that the game I produce will be completely unplayable. I really must get over that.

Climb aboard the Mystery Express!

Days of Wonder, in their usual, brilliant way of drumming up interest in upcoming titles, have started a Whodunit Contest for the their upcoming release Mystery Express. All the rules and details are here.

Whether I have the time or energy to enter myself is another question. You might wanna check out the other Eric's review before you commit the time to try and win a copy (although 500 bucks would be sweet...)
